I've Been M.I.A.

I know. I know. I haven't been around much lately. We've had to handle some family issues, which created a lot of stress for all of us and caused me to shut down creatively. I was not able to focus on anything for any length of time, so I decided not to fight it and just stayed away from my craft area. Things didn't work out as we had hoped with my niece and we had to make some hard decisions and demonstrate a bit of tough love.

I'm still feeling a little blue, Feeling Blue but I've been spending time in prayer, so I know it will pass. Hopefully I will be able to create some things to share again very soon.

On a brighter note, because of the recent changes in our home, I have my craft studio back and I am looking forward to re-decorating it and moving back in.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...the weather here is beautiful...windy and cold, with a sky full of ominous clouds! Rain for sure, snow?...perhaps! The girls have the next two days off from school and I am looking forward to spending some quality time with them and doing some baking or something! Thanks for visiting!

Blessings~

Oh my friend, I'm sorry to hear of the family troubles. I hope you are feeling more like yourself soon. It's no fun to have to deal with stuff like this. But, if not for the hard times one wouldn't recognize the beauty of the good times.

Hang in there and HUGS!

Hi Barb, Thanks for joining hte group! I love your blog. I love the patriotic theme! I fell in love with your Christmas tree widget so I added it to the website! Your opened up Hope card is so pretty. Can I add that to the Card Gallery? Talk to you later!

I'm glad that you and your family have been able to work this out. I'm sure it wasn't easy...to deal with, nor to decide what to do about it. Prayer is always good, and I hope it provides you with the peace of mind you're seeking.
