Here It Is...

I finished the scarf for my Mum. I had Victoria model it for us. I didn't use a pattern for this one, I just cast on stitches and started knitting. I would try it on every so often to check the length. It was fun and easy to make, and I have already started another one for Victoria.

I wanted to say a special thank you to my 'model'. She is recovering from being ill and she was such a sport to model the scarf and let me take photos of her, when she has 'sick' face. She still looks beautiful to me! Thanks sweetie!

The scarf is 64 inches long and 9 inches wide plus the fringe. It's big and wide so it can be worn around the shoulders. It can also be worn partially on the head and still have enough scarf left to warm the neck. Or it can be gathered and folded into a pretty cowl neck. I made it big for versatility. And it's warm and comfy, too. Not too bad for my first knitting project! I hope Mum likes it.

I packaged it up and put it in the mail today. I am so proud of myself for that because I am usually really bad about getting to the post office in a timely manner. I used one of the cards I made and I typed the care instructions on my computer, printed them out on white cs and adhered that to the inside of the card. I tied on a sloppy bow using a piece of the yarn from the scarf project.

Thanks for the visit. Until next time...

Blessings~
