Cinco de Mayo Layout
I wanted to share a bit of my Cinco de Mayo with all of you. I don't really go all out and decorate for this day. We usually have dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. This year we decided to do something different. One of our favorite spots caught on fire and is closed for repairs and then in light of the whole H1N1 issue, we thought it would be best if we prepared our own food. My Man is the Taco King at our house. He has recently passed on the tortilla to the girls, meaning they know how to make 'his' tacos. Of course, with Patricia being the chef-in-training, she added a few things from her bag of tricks to the pot. Dinner was delicious. We listened to Salsa music and watched Cinco de Lopez aka the George Lopez show on Nick.

Your family is too cute!
Sounds great...I need to take cooking lessons from your family, lol. You guys always eat so well! Glad you had a good holiday.
Barb, your layout is excellente! I always love reading your journaling and the ending is perfect...made me laugh. Great pics!
I love every single thing about this layout! Mostly because you do up the holidays right and enjoy wonderful times with your family. Those tacos look scrumptious! (It's almost dinner time and I've a hankering for tacos now, but not the fixings, darn it)!
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
What a great layout. I can't believe you already have it scrapped, even digitally, just 2 days after the holiday. TFS.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...your family really knows how to celebrate in style! I love all the little touches that you add to make each occasion so special and memorable. I love your fun and festive LO! Thanks so much for sharing a slice of your version of May 5th with us. ;)
