Anya the Graduate

I've still got quite a few more graduation cards to make. I made this little darling for Vic's best friend Joanna. I used another digital image from The Greeting Farm. I love these little guys. I did heat set it this time and I got no smearing. Yay! I decided to use some more of the BG Porcelain collection, I think it's my new favorite.

And here is a peek at the inside...I really like decorating the inside of my cards now. Not only does it nicely finish off the card, but it also uses up scraps of pretty paper that I might otherwise toss in the garbage.

Supplies-cardstock:Vintage Cream(PTI). Cameo Coral(SU!). White(GP). paper:Porcelain Collection(Basic Grey). digital image:Graduation Anya(The Greeting Farm). stamps:'congrats grad'-(Clear Stamps).'wishing you'-Birthday Basics(PTI). 'congratulations'-Scattered Showers(PTI). ink:Hollyhock, Chocolate, Creme Brulee(CTMH). ribbon:Oatmeal(Offray). other:Copic markers, acrylic discs(Michael's). Scallop edge punch(SU!).

My watermark was behaving badly this evening, so I had to post without it. Maybe it's time I created a new one anyway. Changing the subject a bit...I want to thank Nona and Sparkle for their input and advice for me, regarding opening an Etsy shop. I finally did it and you can find my link in the sidebar over there. I only have a few items listed right now. There are more to follow when I get another free block of time. I like taking my time with the descriptions, since I can't actually speak to potential customers.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for the visit. Until next time...

Be Blessed!

Great card, Barb! This reminds me that I need to make a grad card for my niece, who graduated from college this year. I have this image from The Greeting Farm too.

Your designer papers are always sooo pretty! You make great colors choices.

Glad to see you got your Etsy store up and running. Very nice!

Wow, Barb! This is wonderful. LOVE your coloring and the color choices you chose. I agree with Kim on your selection of colors to use.

Dressing up the insides of cards is great...now I just need to remember to do it more often.

Congrats on your Etsy store. May you have lots of success with it!!

Your cards are absolutely beautiful! I love what you have done to personalize a grad card. I have to make up a couple in the morning - of course mine will be a bit simpler.

What a beautiful graduation card, Barb! I love your coloring and the highlighting on your image, and that Porcelain paper is gorgeous with your coral CS -- I have NO doubt that this card was recognized as the treasure it is.

Congrats on opening an Etsy store too! And I'm still waiting to see what beading creations you and SweetP cooked up. ;)
