Friendship Birdie

I went to a Stampin Up! card class this morning with my friend Caryl...look at one of the cards we made! I think it is just gorgeous! I've never used the large background stamps before and was a bit intimidated by them. Not anymore...Caryl showed me how to use them and my project turned out great! There is no patterned paper on this card, just the big background stamp...think of the possibilities! After stamping the background, we took daubers and rubbed different colors over it. So cute! We used the distress tool to get the edges ragged. It's got kind of a vintage look... I just love it! It was also very easy to make. Just layering the different card stock on and calling it done. For the bird image, I colored that with Stampin' Write markers to get all the different colors on, then gave it a huff-i breathed on it-and then stamped right onto my card stock. Easy as can be. I will definitely be using these techniques again.

Supplies-All products are from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for dropping in. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings~
