My card today was inspired by many things...I saw a gorgeous vintage card on Sarah's blog and that started it all!! Then I walked into my bedroom, which is decorated Shabby Chic style and I spotted the little pillows on my chair. And I remembered that I had a beautiful piece of Melissa Frances' paper in my drawer that was just begging to be made into a card...
But the icing on the cake was a beautiful paper flower I saw on Sharli's blog...which ultimately landed me on Antoinette's blog. Here is my card...
I made that paper flower! It was so quick and easy, I made a little basket full of them in lots of different colors, patterns and sizes. It's a great way to use up old paper. What the camera doesn't show is the wonderful shimmer on the card. I gave it a blast of my home made shimmer spray AND I scented my paper with a tiny bit of rose water...just adds to the vintage feel.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I've been playing in my studio and it's time for Valentine's...I have a few goodies to share with you next week. Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings~

This is an outstandingly beautiful project. Such a lovely way to create blooming art anytime of year.
This is pure shabby vintage gorgeousness, Barb!! I ADORE that paper, and your pillow is soooo feminine and beautiful [where'd you get it?]...with those as your inspiration pieces and you at the wheel {or should I say table? -lol}, there's NO way your card could be anything but gorgeous!
I also saw Sarah's and Sharli's flowers, checked out Antionette's tutorial, and think you did a fabulous job with your own. I think I'm gonna have to give that a try too. ;)
