Blogs are all a-buzz with chatter about Winter CHA in Anaheim, CA. Well, I will be attending that too this year! I am so excited. I will finally get to meet some of the people who inspired me in my card making endeavors, like my super talented friend Kim, from Clearly Inspired.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great weekend. I've been making Valentine's Day cards and I will be ready to share those real soon. Until then...
Blessings~

Starting on My Christmas Cards...
I decided to get a jump on making my Christmas cards this year. Last year I did the whole scramble-around-at-the-last-minute-and-stress-myself-out thing. Not going to happen in 2010. So, this is the first one I made. I used a stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday mini catalog. When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it. I used an embossing powder that has glitter in it and I wish you could see the sparkle! You may notice that Joseph's foot is not colored. I realized there were toes peeking out after I took the photo. That little oopsie has been corrected.

The Christmas card displayed is awesome. You have given me a great idea to design a superb card for my wife. I will present it to her in next Christmas.
Your card is gorgeous Barb. I love that image and how you colored just the faces. Have fun at CHA.
Lovely card, Barb! Only two more days and we get to hang out at CHA...Whoopee! I can't wait!
Hi Barb,
Your card is beautiful! I love the way you highlighted only their faces and I bet the embossing really adds a touch of elegance.
Have a great time at CHA and I can't wait to see some pictures!
hugs
Risa:)
Beautiful card, Barb!! Love the way you colored it.
As for going to CHA, enjoy!! I cannot wait to hear all about it.
Have so much fun! I'm so jealous! Your card is lovely!
CHA?!?! Oh, how envious I am!! I know you'll have a wonderful time...wish I could join you. ;)
I'm also envious that you've started on your Christmas cards (one a week was my hope for this year, but as yet I've not made a one). This one is lovely. If you hadn't pointed it out, I doubt I would've noticed the non-colored foot.
And last but not least, I wanted to thank you for whatever it was you sent in the box that arrived yesterday (I'll open it tomorrow). I recently discovered my mom no doubt did some fancy footwork (although finger-work is more like it -lol) to 'persuade' you, but I thank you just the same. ;)
CHA!!!! NO WAY!!! Say hi to all those fabby people from Iowa Barb.
Your card is beautiful..no wonder you HAD to have this stamp,
I read your post on Kathi's blog...Please don't close your blog...I don't care how infrequently or frequently you post, I LOVE your work and find you tremendously inspiring!!!
Hey dude, I'm really jealous of you. How do you get such ideas and that too very creatively? Really you inspire me for the work done. The cards are really fantastic.
