An Irish Blessing

Happy Saturday! I've got a full day of crafting planned, so I'll be brief. I don't usually make cards for St. Patrick's Day, but I came across a darling Irish Blessings set while blog hopping. It's from the Waltzing Mouse. Don't you love that name? Claire Brennan is the shop owner and I had a few questions about converting my currency and she responded to my e-mail straight away! She was a dear, just lovely! So do have a look at her site, she's got some really adorable stamp sets. Anyway, when I saw this set, I knew it needed me. I really like the shamrock stamps because they look like hearts and the sentiments are wonderful. So cute!

The card base is random stamped. I lightly sponged the edges with CTMH Chocolate ink. The sentiment is embossed with Gold Filigree EP from PTI. I used Nesties to die cut my shapes and the DP is from Basic Grey's Origins pack. I gave the whole card a spritz of my home made shimmer spray, so it's full of sparkly goodness! Click on the photo to enlarge it.

Thank you for popping in today. Have a great weekend!

Blessings~

"...it needed me." ROFLOL!!! I'll have to remember that one, though I highly doubt my hubby will fall for it. ;)

I've never made a St. Pat's Day card either, and yours is just lovely! WMS has some wonderful images, and I love this blessing! Great card, Barb! Looking forward to seeing what else you have to show us from your day in the studio.
