I just ran outside and took this picture because I realized that I didn't have a photo of the front door! You should also know that on that wrought iron plant stand, peeking out on the left side there, I have a little tin cat candle holder with a Pumpkin Pie votive in it, so it smells nice even when one is at the door.
The entry table that gets a new look each season. |
This is one of my favorite pieces. I just love this little mosaic pumpkin bicycle. It's has a tealight inside.
Scarecrows are another Fall favorite. |
Pumpkins, baskets, scarecrows...signs of Autumn. |
This is one of my Longaberger baskets. You can't really see it, but the basket has a lid, with a stem. It's very cute! And of course, I have a Gold Canyon Pumpkin Pie candle lit.
This is in our family room. I have several of these electric jack-o-lanterns around the house. I plug them all in at night to cast a nice warm glow. I have two types of jacks. The traditional ones that you see here.
And also these 'crystal' ones ...they are so pretty when the room is dark. Once Halloween has passed, I turn the jacks around so that the faces can not be seen. I still plug them in and they still look pretty.
This antique desk is in our hallway. If you look to the far right side of the picture, you'll see Charlie standing there. He's our scarecrow. Back to the desk, I change the decor here to fit the seasons as well. I even change out my artwork. Hanging on the wall now, is Thomas Kinkade's Autumn Gate.
Displayed on the desk are various pumpkins I've collected over the years. Some of them were made by my girls. The Mickey one was purchased on one of our trips, during our Year with Disney days. Most of these hold candles or tea lights. The bitty books are ones that I used to read to the girls when they were younger.
This is just a sprinkle of my decor for Autumn. I like to get the whole house involved. I decorate the powder room, the kitchen, our media room and the fireplaces. I will make subtle changes for next month and bring out the turkeys and more pumpkins. This really is my favorite time of the year!
Thank you so very much for visiting with me today. Have a wonderful Monday.
Blessings~

Absolutely fabulous, Barb. So fun and festive. I, too, think your blog design is great! Turning the jacks around to see just the pumpkin side is so clever.
Thanks so much for sharing! Enjoy the season!
I do seasonal decorating, but not to the extent that you do! I love what you've done. I absolutely adore candles and tea pots, and fall is my favorite season.
Beautiful decorating, Barb - a fun post that brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing.
Love everything! Your front door is beautiful. Love all of your pumpkins too!
Can't wait to see these all in person. I don't think you had all this up when I was over last week! You decorate so nicely. One day when my kids stop breaking things I will have to get some pretty things.
