Hello everyone! It’s March first…already! Time just seems to move in nano seconds for me these days. I hope you all had wonderful weekends. I have to confess, I did not clean my kitchen. Ah! I just couldn’t do it. We had really rainy, frosty weather and I stayed in my jammies, watching movies and reading. I figured the kitchen would be right where I left it on Monday morning...and I was right. Blech!

I do have some fun news to share, though…the very talented Alanna, from Alanna’s Spot in the World has invited me to be a guest designer for this month on the Lollipop Crafts blog. Of course, I accepted! It is such a fun place! If you’ve never visited, take a moment to do so,you will not be disappointed. I have an opportunity to work with some very generous sponsors and I’m excited to share my projects with all of you over the next few weeks.

But for today, I have this little guy to show you.  My card features a digital image from Meljens Designs. Isn't her cute? I colored him with Prisma pencils. He's got a little bling on his shell, because in my world, no card is complete without some kind of sparkle!

Materials Used:
Digital Image: Turtle by Meljens Designs
Stamp: “Hi” from For Every Occasion (CTMH)
Cardstock: Aqua Mist, New Leaf (PTI), Only Orange (SU!) White Daisy (CTMH)
Paper: Cheeky Collection-Emery (Making Memories)
Ink: Chocolate (CTMH) Summer Sky (Memento)
Accessories: Prisma pencils, Square Scallop Nestabilities, Bloom Dots embossing folder, New Leaf Button, Crystal Ice Stickles, Martha Stewart Round Scallop punch, chocolate brad, chocolate grosgrain ribbon, foam tape

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!

Hi Barb! I didn't realize that Alanna had asked you to guest design until she sent that email to both of us. How exciting! I love what you did with that turtle! So cute! I'm looking forward to seeing what you've created for the month and hope my stuff holds up well. *Ü*

Love the spring look of your blog and that pretty butterfly is back. Yay!!

Barb, it sounds like you had a great weekend in your jammies. I think we all need to do that from time to time. Stop and slow down! What book are you reading?

Congrats on the guest DT gig! You deserve it! Your work is fantastic. Love your card today. I agree...every card looks better with some bling. In fact, everything looks better with bling! LOL!

Have a good one! Hugs!
