Christmas Blessings

Hello everyone! Boy this weekend sure flew by quickly! It was so cold and windy here, that I stayed indoors all weekend, working in the studio. I wasn't working on anything in particular, just fiddlin' around with my supplies, trying new things, organizing and re-arranging. And I have a card to share. I still have a lot of Christmas cards left over from last year, when I participated in Sparkle's Christmas card challenges! If you need inspiration and a gentle nudge to get your cards completed, take a look at Sparkle's weekly challenges.

My card today features a lovely silhouette of the Holy Family. I made some of these last year and didn't post the picture. I made a few more recently to sell at a Christmas boutique and I thought I would share it with all of you.

Supplies:
stamp set: Christmas Blessings(Taylored Expressions)
card stock: heavy base weight white and white layering weight(GinaK Designs)  Ballet Blue, Night of Navy(Stampin' Up!)  True Black(Papertrey Ink
patterned paper: The Christmas Stack(DCWV)
ink: Memento Summer Sky, Memento Danube Blue, Versamark
embossing powder: Super Fine Detail Black(Ranger)
gem on star: Tiny Twinkle's(Taylored Expressions)

I stamped the image onto white layering weight cs, using Versamark ink and I embossed it in black. In real life, it's raised and very shiny. Then, I sponged on Summer Sky and Danube Blue. I matted the focal image onto black cs, then onto navy cs and adhered it to my card front with dimensional adhesive...clean and simple. Easy to make, easy to mail.

Thanks for the visit! Have a great Monday!

Blessings~
