New Release Friday!

Hello Friends! Today is Friday and that means it's New Release Day at Meljen's Designs! Take a look at all the super cuteness available for you in the Shop.

Cute stuff, right? I love that Melissa has included some items for Hanukkah and I really hope I get a chance this weekend, to create a card using one of these special images. The Stuffed Reindeer is my absolute favorite and I chose that image to work with first. I have to say it was a BIG favorite with the Design Team, too, so be sure to pop over to the Meljen's Designs blog to take a peek at what the ladies have created this week...some awesome projects over there, including a canvas painting that you just have to see!

Here is my little guy...

Isn't he cute? Yeah...he's printed on Cryogen White card stock and colored with Copic markers. I added a touch of sparkle to his jingle bells and star with a glitter pen. He has a bit of glaze pen on his little nose, to make it shiny. I die cut the focal image with a Nestie and sponged around with distress ink. I adhered the focal image with dimensionals and used a white gel pen to add dashed lines. I rounded the bottom corners to imitate his rounded body. Then, I tied on some bakers twine to finish off the card. Neat thing about this twine...take a close look at it. It's KRAFT and red, not the usual white and red. It's from by My Mind's Eye and looks so much better to me with the earth tones, than the white based twine. I tied a bitty bow, and I'm on the lookout for a tiny jingle bell to add to it. Maybe it's time for a trip to Hobby Lobby!

I love how you colored that cute reindeer! The white faux stitching is a great detail, and that Kraft twine is to die for!

Absolutely FABULOUS, my sweet friend! The image is adorable and your coloring is wonderful. Kraft and red twine? You knew it had to happen, right? Love it. Good luck looking for tiny bells. Hope you find them, but really the card looks fantastic as is!
