Noel Ornament

Hello Friends! Today is the day I begin to share my Christmas card creations. Many of the cards you will see over the next few days are cards I made at Stampin' Up! events. So, all of the materials used are SU! products.

This one I made at a recent Stamp-a-Stack...a really fun event hosted by my friend Caryl. If you've never attended one, I encourage you to try it. We made six cards, we worked at our own pace and we were able to use a variety of SU! tools and products. I love learning to use new tools and I really love learning new techniques. These events are the perfect place to 'try before you buy'. The cards we created are simple and easy, so they can be mass produced.  On to my card...

On this card I used the Sweater Trim to create the bow for my ornament. You have to feel that trim! It is so soft and feels like a real sweater. No patterned paper here, it's back to basics...card stock, ink and stamps.

materials used ~
stamps: Ornament Keepsakes   Greetings of the Season   Watercolor Winter
ink: Gumball Green   Cherry Cobbler
card stock: Whisper White   Cherry Cobbler
other: Holiday Ornaments Framelits   Rhinestone Basic Jewels   1/4 Sweater Trim in Whisper White

Thank you for visiting! Have a great Wednesday.

Blessings~

The image is so vivid in those beautiful colors. I love the greenery surrounding the ornament. And the texture of the bow adds great dimension.

What a great card, Barb. I really like that you got back to basics, as you say and that sweater trim adds wonderful texture and interest.

As always, I enjoy your enthusiasm for your craft! Have a fantastic day.
