Design Team Share Day

Hello Friends! Today is Design Team Share day at Meljen's Designs. Every month, the DT is presented with a theme and we get to create a project to share on the blog. Our theme this month is Anything But a Card. I decided to make some bookmarks...

The picture is blurry! I am getting so unhappy with this. It is not my camera. My photos are sharp and clear, but when I post them, as they are loading onto the page, I can see them go from clear to blurry! Does anyone know why this is happening? Click on it and it's crystal clear. Anyway...I used rubber stamps right along side my digital images to create these cute little bookmarks. I love the versatility of digital images, because they can be re-sized to fit many different projects. These were so fun to make. I printed all of the images on Cryogen White and colored them with Copic markers.

I chose three sweet images from the Meljen's Shop; Mushroom Mouse, Easter Cross and Study Owl. There are so many options in the Shop, that one could use for bookmarks. I know that many people use e-readers these days, and I am one of them. However, there is nothing that can replace the feel of a book in my hands, or the sound of pages turning. And sometimes, I just grab a REAL BOOK, to curl up with and read, and I have a little collection of bookmarks for times like that.

Please stop by the Design Team blog to see what the other members are sharing. DT Share day posts are on Tuesday and Wednesday each month. And don't forget to play along with our Thursday challenge, you might win free digis! We also feature a Guest Designer every month. This month we have the very talented, Luciana Picoral joining us. Make sure you stop by to see her wonderful creations each week.

Thank you for visiting me. Enjoy your day!

Blessings~

Great job, Barb! These are terrific! I love how you showcased the versatility of digi images. And you've colored these up wonderfully.

I don't really know why your pictures would look blurry on the blog and then clear when you opened it. My guess is that the resolution on the blog is less to speed up load time and then if someone wants to enlarge it goes to the original resolution of the photo? Probably far off base there, but that's my thought anyway.

Irregardless, your share is terrific!
