Design Team Share Day

Hello Friends! It's time for another DT Share Day @ MelJen's Designs. We are sharing projects created from something that inspires us. I was inspired by a few of the members on the MelJen's Designs Facebook page, who shared some gorgeous creations featuring, Sunflower Buggies. This image is just adorable and I had such fun coloring it!

I printed two of the image onto my favorite iridescent card stock and colored them both with Copic markers. I used my favorite technique for adding *fluffy clouds to the base image.*(see note below) Then, I fussy cut one of the images out and adhered it with dimensional adhesive. I slightly offset it, for even more dimension. I used the pointillism technique for coloring the center of the flower and then dotted on glue and sprinkled on glitter. SUCH a cute effect in real life.

April Showers bring May flowers! Grab a cute flower digital stamp from the Shop, create a card and send it to a friend! I know they would LOVE it!

*A note about the clouds...I get many inquires about how I make the clouds on my cards. Click HERE to see the original post about the clouds. I still use the same type of  template, but now I use Broken China Distress ink and an Ink Duster, instead of the inks and sponges pictured. Using the dusters is foolproof! No harsh lines, no bold concentration of color...just a light dusting of color, right where you want it.

That's all I have for now. Have a wonderful day!

Blessings~
