His & Hers ~ Thank You Cards

Hello Friends! Happy Friday! I realized that I had not posted my cards for the last lesson in the His & Hers online card class. Kristina presented a very simple sketch for us to follow. Her cards were amazing, created in her unique clean and simple style. I, however, struggled with mine. The idea with these, was to be able to create a nice CAS thank you card quickly and still have it be well thought out and planned. Ok...here we go.

His:

When I created this one, I used second generation stamping and I shouldn't have. The print on the patterned paper is very bold and I needed stronger ink colors to balance that out...next time!

Hers:

Bright and sunny was what I was going for on this one. I made it with my new friend, Pam in mind. I've been going to water aerobics several times a week and I mentioned that the chlorine was taking a toll on my skin and one of the ladies, Pam, bought me a few bars of soap to try out. I thought that was so sweet! As I stated above, the sketch for these cards was very simple, using minimal embellishments for easy mailing, which I can appreciate.

So there you have it! I completed each assignment for this class. I really enjoyed this one. It helped me to think outside the box when creating cards and also to think about creating a masculine and a feminine card at the same time, causing my stash to grow quickly.

I hope you have enjoyed my little sneak peeks into the His&Hers Online card class. Of course, I can't give away all the secrets, but I think I shared a few tips and tricks you can incorporate into your own card making.

Thank you for visiting me today. Make it a great weekend!

Blessings~
