Thursday Challenge @ MelJen's Designs

Hello Friends! We have another fun challenge posted on the MelJen's Design Team blog today. We want to see something

Fa-Boo-lous!
Create a Halloween project that is anything but a card

Sounds like fun, right? Yes! I decided to combine my love of paper crafting with my love of cupcakes and using three of the cutest little Halloween faces, I created these...

I used Witchy Face, Vampy Face and Franky Face. I printed them onto white card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut each one and sponged on Distress inks while the image was still in the die. That is how I keep a crisp white border around the outside of the image. I added a little glitter marker to each image as well. I used paper straws to hold my toppers. I just cut the straw in thirds, flattened down a small portion of the top and adhered it to my image. I used Scor-Tape for a firm hold. And I finished off the back sides by die cutting a piece of Halloween theme patterned paper and adhering it to the straw. BUT...I forgot to snap a picture of the back and now the cupcake holders are all gone.

I hope you take a moment to play along with our challenge this week. And please stop by the Design Team blog to take a look at all the gorgeous projects the ladies have created to share with you. There is a haunted house over there, that will knock your socks off!

***I am also entering this project in the HALLOWEEN COLORS Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.***

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

Blessings~
