Trick or Treat with Mr. Bones

Hello Friends! It's finally October! My favorite month of the year. I am enjoying all of the pumpkin flavored goodies that I'm finding in the stores. I don't believe I've ever seen sooo many. I've had Pumpkin Spice Hershey's kisses, Pumpkin Patch ice cream, pumpkin cheesecake cookies, pumpkin pancakes from IHop and of course pumpkin spice coffee. I'm in pumpkin heaven! It's a good thing these goodies only come around for a limited time!

Today, I am sharing a card I created using a really cute digital stamp I found in the MelJen's Designs Shop. I love that the Shop is organized by theme, season, or occasion.  It's so easy to find just the category I'm looking for. To view more Halloween themed digi's click HERE.

So, without further ado, I give you...Mr. Bones! Isn't he just the cutest thing?! Skinny little legs with that big ol' head, just walking along! I giggle every time I look at him.

Mr. Bones is printed on my favorite card stock and colored with Copic markers. After I die cut him, I dusted around the edges with blue and black distress ink. He's got a little sparkle on him, not much, 'cuz he's a dude and I colored his eyes pale green and added gloss to them. He's mounted on foam adhesive.

I used the same die set to cut a panel for the inside of the card. I did a little more ink dusting, stamped on a few more details and called it finished.

If you're in need of some Halloween cards, it's not too late! There are 73 digital stamps in the Shop that are Halloween themed. Another great thing about digis, is the instant gratification. You just order, download and print and you're ready to make cards!

Thanks for visiting me today. Have a great Wednesday.

Blessings~
