Christmas Wreaths

Hello Friends! I have a few cards to share with you today. I've been seeing lots of wreath cards on Instagram and I decided to treat myself to a new stamp set. I love wreaths, and this set can be used year round, just by swapping out the images. I am also starting to like the 'builder stamp sets' more and more. That's what Jennifer McGuire calls them. :) For these cards, I used Winter Wreath from Avery Elle.

Simply stamped...quick and easy. I sponged on the tiniest bit of ink around the edges. Then, I fussy cut the bow for the wreath and adhered it with foam tape to add dimension. I added  red Stickles to the berries for a little sparkle.

Inside view....

For the inside, I stamped the wreath off a few times and then stamped the card stock, added a few more images from the set and my greeting. I added a bit of patterned paper for interest. And that's all there was to it!

On this next card, I changed the card stock colors and went with a landscape fold. I created this card with a male friend in mind. I liked the dark brown for him, rather than the red.

I still added the red Stickles, though! LoL! Even guys appreciate a little sparkle around the Holidays, right?

Here's a close up...

I stamped the wreath twice without re-inking to add depth and shadows.

Thank you so much for dropping in today! I will see you tomorrow with the last card in the Christmas Card Parade.

Blessings~

Just gorgeous! I love the depth of your double stamping. The popped up bow is great. The inside is just spectacular.

Ohhhh, I love this, Barb! I like what Jennifer Mcguire has to say. Good for you for getting the set and creating such a beautiful card with it. I'm so happy you've been sharing your cards. Thank you so very much. I can't wait to see what else you create with this set over time.
