Happy Mail!

Hello Friends! Happy Friday! I'm just popping in to share a RAK I received from my dear friend, Sheila from LaLa Crafts blog. I always say that my blog readers are the best and I mean that! I have never met Sheila in person, but we've struck up a nice little friendship, where we chat thru e-mail. I was super surprised when she told me to be on the look-out for a package from her. Oh goody, I thought, Happy Mail! Here is a peek at the goodies she sent. That package was loaded with fun stuff!

Stickers and stamp sets and tags, oh my! There is even some patterned paper in there and I love it! I got busy and created a few cards with some of my treasures.

I used one of the stamp sets and the patterned paper on this one.

LOVE it! I chose to go CAS with this one and created a masculine birthday card. I finally got to use my wooden stars! Those little things are sooo cute! For masculine cards, I don't add much bling. But to bring a little light to the card, I added a shiny gold brad to the center of the pinwheel.

Here is how I finished the inside...

I used a bit more of the patterned paper from the front of the card and a really fun sentiment. I just love that large Happy Birthday! It's from a Lawn Fawn set.

I also made a thank you card with some more of the patterned papers. I really like this patterned paper. It's called Clementine. Sweet, right? Yes! And it was just begging to be used with my cupcake stamp set.

I stamped the images onto various patterns and fussy cut them out. I adhered the frosting with dimensional adhesive, brushed on a little glitter with a Wink of Stella brush, then added a little card stock flower with a gem to finish it off.

And here is a look at the inside...

Again, I added the same papers on the inside and I lightly stamped a little cupcake, too. It's still light enough to write over it, if necessary. Fun, fun, fun!

I know I will be using more of my goodies in the upcoming days. Thank you again, Sheila!

So, that's it for me today.  Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate the visit! Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~

I adore the cards you've made with those fun products. I really like each card you created. Great idea to add wooden stars to a masculine card. Will have to remember that one!
