Hello Friends! I decided to join another Online Card Class. This one is Copic Markers for Card Makers. I'm very excited about this. I have been a big fan of Copic markers for many years. I learned to use them by watching a lot of videos on YouTube and I had the privilege of having a one-on-one skin coloring tutorial with THE Debbie Olson at CHA years ago. (You can read about that HERE.) I've always wanted to take a 'real' Copic class and now here is my opportunity. I love the teaching format of the Online Card Classes and I know that this one is going to be great.
I went thru my Archives and here is the first card I shared featuring an image colored with Copics.
This was from 2008 when I received my first set of markers! I have learned a few things since then! And, I have to say a big thank you...again to Debbie Olson for helping me select images and markers to begin my Copic journey!
I have to say that my Copics have been gathering dust lately since I discovered other coloring media. And I'm hoping that this class will help me to fall in love with the markers again. I may not be able to play along with all of the lessons, as I am extremely busy with family matters right now. But, one of the good things about the OCC is that I will have lifetime access to the materials and I can work at my own pace.
I am looking forward to learning more about my Copic markers and if you have ever wanted to learn about them, you should join us!
Class starts Monday, September 22...
Have a wonderful weekend! It's almost Autumn! :)
Blessings~

Ah! A Classmate!! And my IG Buddy to boot! My first online class and so excited for the Copic instruction! Those classes are no where near my home to attend so this is quite a deal! Happy coloring Barbara!-Paiit's Stamping Studio
Barb, your cards are always beautifully colored. I know you will enjoy the class and show us lots of what you learn. (BTW, please take care of yourself as you care for family.) Have a great weekend!
I'm very excited for you to be able to take the class as well. If I had some Copics, I might be interested, but I'll "make do" with my Prisma pencils. Hee, hee. Seriously though, I am thrilled for you and cannot wait to see what you create. I hope your busy with family is a good kind of busy! Hugs!
As I was publishing my comment, my eye took in your Statement of the heart on your sidebar. Wow! What a wonderful way to celebrate creating! Thanks for sharing that statement. :) Hugs!
Lovely card Barb!
