What an Honor!

Hello Friends and Happy Wednesday to you! If you've been following my blog, then you'll know how much I admire Kristina Werner. I have been a fan of her work for many, many years. In fact, she was a huge influence on me in my early card making years and I learned so many things from her. I visit her blog often and she is doing AMAZING things. Please visit her, if you haven't already.

Now...onto to the REALLY good stuff. Each month, Kristina hosts a Mail Call. Each month there is a theme and Kristina asks that crafters send her cards/projects related to the theme. She will then select a hand full to spotlight on her Mail Call video. Well...I summoned up some courage and I decided to submit a card last month, the theme was School/Teacher. And guess what? YES! She selected my card to spot light in her video AND it even made it onto the cover graphic for her video!! Was I excited? You betcha!

This is the card I submitted...

And here is the video...

I was surprised and honored to be part of her selection. As you can see from the video, there are some very talented ladies out there!

That's all I have to share today. Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings~

Whoo hooo! Congratulations, Barb! That must have been fantastic! I am so thrilled for you. The card you submitted is terrific. Your coloring is amazing. I love that background paper and the bit of ribbon on the tiny paper clip. It's no wonder she selected it! Way to go!

Hi again, Barb! Just watched the video up to the point where she talks about your card and I was thrilled again for you. She had some lovely things to say about your style and craftsmanship. Well deserved, I say. You do impeccable work as she said. How wonderful for you to be among the excellent talent shown.
