Hello Friends! I've actually not had a good day and I'm behind schedule. BUT, I took a little time to listen to some relaxing music and do a bit of coloring in hopes of making lemonade out of a lemon kind of day.
Here is my cast of characters.
I have had this Lockhart Violet Cupcake stamp for seven years and this is the time I've used it. It's an adorable image and it was calling me today, so I decided to give it some love. After stamping the image onto smooth white card stock, using Black Licorice Hybrid ink from My Favorite Things, I colored it up with Copic markers. Then, I added some white dots with a gel pen and gave the petals a bit of sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush. I actually only planned to color the image and be done with it but, the music was nice and I ended up creating a CAS 4-bar card. I'm really liking that size card now. It's so cute!
I die cut the cupcake with one of the Stitched Circle dies from Simon Says Stamp and mounted it onto a piece of green paper that I die cut with the Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. I adhered the focal onto my card base with dimensional adhesive, added a sentiment and some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and that was it.
And then, I decided that I wanted an envelope to match. So, I pulled out my envelope punch board and made one. I took advantage of the fact that the patterned paper was one sided and just used that for the entire envelope. That way, I didn't have to make an envelope liner.
And that is my coloring and card share for Day 16. Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate it!
Blessings~

Oh Barb, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a good day. It looks like maybe working on your coloring might have helped end it on a better note. Wonderful lemonade from your lemony kind of day! Your coloring is lovely. I like the added details in the flowers. How fun that you took the pattern paper into the creation of the envelope. Those sequins add a lovely sparkle. Excellent work! Hugs to you!
Your colouring is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Very pretty card...and I like how you have made a matching envelope! You have inspired me to get out my neglected punch board! smile
Lovely - and the envelope is perfect.
