Day 29 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Friends! Day 29! Can you believe it?! Almost 30 straight days of coloring for me AND blog posts! Well, let's get right to the coloring share.

Here is the cast of characters.

One of my goals when I started this challenge was to use all of the coloring media I own. You can see that picture HERE. And although I cut it really close, I was able to accomplish that goal today by using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils. You'll notice that I left my card base flat, rather than crease my score line. That's because I wanted to stamp my images onto the base and color them. Leaving it flat, kept the card from flapping up on me while I worked.

I stamped my images onto my card base, using My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid ink. This is such a good all-purpose ink and if you're in the market for a new black ink pad, I highly recommend this one. It can be used with all types of coloring media and it produces dark, crisp impressions. I colored the images and blended them with Gamsol and a paper blending stump.

I kept my card clean and simple again. I'm liking that style more and more. And now you can see why I stamped on my card base. I wanted to do a little something different, especially since I wasn't planning to use any patterned paper. I've had this idea in my head for weeks and I'm so pleased with how it turned out.

After I finished adhering the die cut panel, I glued orange gem stones onto the flower centers, brushed on a little Wink of Stella and added a few Sparkling Clear sequins to finish off the card.

And that is it from me today! Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings~

Oh golly, this is fabulous, Barb! What a great idea to use two dies together like that for the peek-a-boo you created. I love your coloring! Yay to you, for using all your coloring media. What do you think of Spectrum Noir pencils? I honestly can't remember if you have Prismacolor pencils, too. If you do, do you prefer one brand over the other? I love the close up of the image. You have a very glittery Wink of Stella pen. I don't think I get that much sparkle from mine! :)

That basket is wonderful. I love how it peeks through the opening. What a fun design. Love the sparkle!
