Hello Friends! Today is the day! The beginning of the 6th coloring challenge, hosted by the oh-so-sweet Kathy Racoosin! I am sooo excited! This time, Kathy is doing things a little differently. Those changes will be revealed in the next few days. One MAJOR change is that Kathy has appointed a few very talented crafters as Goodwill Ambassadors. These kind folks will be visiting your social media accounts and leaving comments or just saying hello. As you can imagine, with this being the SIXTH coloring challenge, the amount of participants has really increased! That's a good thing, however, because Kathy is such a sweetheart and wants to personally comment on each of our projects and with the increase in participants, it has become a little overwhelming. Soooo, that's where the Goodwill Ambassadors come in and I think that's marvelous! You can read more about that and "meet" the Ambassadors by clicking HERE.
Okay. Let's get into what I've colored for today. I just had a small window of time, so I colored up this adorable little mouse from the Harvest Mouse stamp set by My Favorite Things. Click on the picture to enlarge it.
First, I die cut a stitched square panel from a scrap of smooth white card stock. Then, I lined up the image and sentiment on my MISTI and stamped them with MFT's Black Licorice hybrid ink. And then, I pulled out my Polychromos colored pencils and had a nice relaxing coloring session. It feels good to just color! Try it!
Short and sweet today.
Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for a wonderful surprise!
Blessings~

Yippeee! Oooh, I'm so happy that the challenge has started. Believe it or not...I did sit myself down and color yesterday and I'm gonna do my best to sit down today, too. I think the Goodwill Ambassador idea sounds like a great one. It's a nice problem to have...lots of people are loving this challenge. That says a lot about how much fun it is to color! Now about your coloring. It's fantastic, fabulous and wonderful. I adore those mice. And you know I don't like mice in real life. Digital or stamped mice are okay, though. :) You colored this little guy fabulously. And the sentiment makes me want to go awwww. I love the choices you made all the way down to the great shadowing underneath. Excellent work. :) Hugs!!
I knew it would be great, Barb. This is so cute! You're off to a great start:)
Bee-u-tiful! I love the little mouse with his pumpkin! Excellent!!
This is a terrific card. I am enjoying this challenge so much. Thank you!
This is my first time doing this challenge, so much talent in the crafting world. Love this cute litte mouse. Love
Thank you so much for sharing
What a great idea to use little critters or other small stamps. I'm going to go stamp up a bunch right now and then I can have something to color when I only have a snippet of time. Darling card
Wow! Your coloring makes those corn cobs jump off the page! Beautiful card
great coloring!
so cute image!
I love this set but haven't got it inky yet! I love the ease of using color pencils -- thanks for the inspiration!
So sweet! I cannot believe how much this challenge has grown. For me, it rejuvenated an old -end-of-day relaxation thing. I colored my way through nursing school, then sort of forgot how much I enjoyed it. Along came Kathy, encouraging me to just do SOMETHING every day. It was such a blessing to resume. And a lot of times, it was just a small stamped image. Thank you for helping her out. I am sure you are such a wonderful blessing to her.
So cute and so simple. Very nice. I like your shading.
