Day 7 ~ The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello, Friends! I received several graduation announcements recently so I thought I'd better start crankin' out a few cards. To get myself warmed up and in the mood, I used a new Lawn Fawn set, How You Been? Stars Add-On. This is such a cute set. This image actually is to be used inside of a Mason jar. I didn't do that, though. :)

Instead, I stamped the image onto a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Card stock, using Versamark ink and sprinkled on some WOW Pearl embossing powder. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and did a little watercoloring. I haven't done that in a while. It was fun!

After everything was all dry, I gave it a good coating of sparkle with a Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen. And that was that!

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings~

Great card, Barb. Fun that this image works so well outside the mason jar. I really like the subtle blue background, too. Yay for watercoloring a bit, too. So fun. Hugs!

Barbara what a great TOP TIP of getting out the colours you are going to use and separating them from the rest of the colours so that you don't get distracted by other colours. I will be doing this in the future as well. Thank you for that tip. x

Love the LF Stars. Using your Zigs direct to paper or with a water brush from a palette? I need to experiment with mine. TFS!
