Power Poppy ~ Take a Deep Breath

Hello, Friends! Happy Sunday! I'm back again today with ANOTHER new Power Poppy digi set! This one is called, Take a Deep Breath. I love that name and you'll learn why in a moment.

Here's what Marcella had to say about this image...

"Pause for a moment, relax your shoulders, breathe in, deeply, and breathe out. Repeat this process, paying attention to your breathing. Eventually, while you breathe out, smile at the same time. Feel the joy that can come from this simple exercise! Focusing on your breathing is one of the best ways to bring calm to your entire being, and I have designed a scene to help celebrate this serenity. The lotus is a symbol of serenity and peace, and here we have a few lush blooms and an undulating lily pad to color. Enjoy bringing beauty to this watery scene, and pay attention to your breathing while you color - it might be your most peaceful craft experience yet!"

You will notice that I do not have a card sample to share. And there's a very good reason for that. I do love the image, the lotus flower, the water, the dragonflies are all so darling. But, the lotus seed pod triggers my trypophobia. If you know anything about this illness, you will understand why I couldn't work with this digi. I thought about just removing the seed pod but then the image was no longer balanced. So, I decided that it would be best if I just passed on this one altogether. But, I did want to share Marcy's lovely thoughts and beautiful illustration with all of you.

Marcella's thoughts noted above really helped me to be able to share this little tidbit about myself. The very name of the digi made me smile. Because that is exactly what I have to do when I'm faced with something I find disturbing. I take a deep breath and move along VERY quickly! I used a sticky note to add the graphic to my post. I've been dealing with this for a while...I know how to get around things! LoL!

And that's it for me today. Please visit tomorrow. I'll be back on track.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings~

Lovely digi. I've never heard of this particular phobia and had to look it up. It's too bad you won't be able to color this image. I'm sure you would do a fantastic job on it. Hugs!
