Power Poppy Christmas Remix Blog Hop featuring ~ O Holy Night and Snowy Church

Hello, Friends! Welcome back! How are you enjoying the Christmas Remix Blog Hop so far? Aren't the ladies sharing some beautiful artwork? Oh my goodness! Marcella's illustrations are gorgeous to begin with and then the ladies get a hold of 'em and...just WOW!

Well, we've got lots more to share so lets get on with it! Today, we are showcasing, O Holy Night and Snowy Church. Two stamp sets that feature a sweet little snow covered country church.

Marcella has illustrated the perfect idyllic scene all in one stamp, no masking necessary! I love that! This set makes it a snap to create beautiful cards that are easy to mass produce. Take a look at what I've done here using the O Holy Night clear stamp set...

Using my MISTI stamp positioning tool, I stamped the image with embossing ink and then sprinkled on some Brutus Monroe Alabaster White embossing powder and heat set it. After I let it cool, I used a blending brush to swirl on a little Unicorn White pigment ink. I was going for a snowy, glowy, frosty look. Next, I buffed off the excess ink with a paper towel. I matted the focal with silver glitter card stock and popped it up with dimensional tape. To finish it off, I went over the entire image with a Nuvo Clear Glitter Gloss pen. And that was it! The beauty of this card is its simplicity AND the amazing sparkle that unfortunately, my camera couldn't fully capture. It would be a breeze to create a stack of these in an afternoon using various colors of card stock and ink. Or if you're feeling really creative, you can sit down with your favorite coloring medium and color it up! Another fun option would be to grab the digital stamp, enlarge it and make a decorative piece for your wall. Ahh...the versatility of digital stamps.

Well, that's it for me for today. Please buzz on over to the Power Poppy blog to see the list of designers who have created beautiful samples to share with you. Also, don't forget to take a look HERE for special pricing on the stamps in this release. There are some sales!

Blessings~
