Power Poppy ~ Heart Abloom

Hello, Friends! Happy Friday! Today is Friday Fun Day at Power Poppy which means there is inspiration galore on the Power Poppy blog! Yaaaaay!!!

Today, I am featuring the Heart Abloom digital stamp. I love this image. It's got big flouncy flowers that just scream SPRING! There are daffodils and narcissus, hellebores, trout lilies, and blueberries! There's even a bitty snail making his way across a juicy leaf! The digital image is on sale for $3.99!

And if you prefer to use clear stamps, you'll want to check out the Always Here stamp set because this baby is on sale for a cool nine bucks! You'll get that gorgeous floral heart, all of those sentiments and a sweet wee snail! SEVEN stamps in all for NINE DOLLARS! What?!

 My card....

I printed the image onto the smooth side of a die cut piece of watercolor paper and I colored it with colored pencils. I used mostly Prismacolor pencils but I also used some Polychromos, as well as a few Tombow Irojeten pencils and a couple from Blick Studio. I sat down and grabbed the colors that I liked. I didn't really plan it out. I just wanted to color. I kept this one super simple to keep the focus on that gorgeous image. I added a little sparkle to some of the blooms with a Wink of Stella glitter brush and I accented the focal image with a few tiny, shiny hearts.

That's it for me today. Please buzz on over to the Power Poppy blog to be inspired by my wonderful team mates. Oh! And we are still having our MASSIVE SALE event. So don't forget to take advantage of those good deals.

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate the visit. Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~
