Cute Lil' Tote Bag

We have all seen the box in a bag that was circulating a few months back and we all thought that it was really cute. Well...while I was visiting Becca's blog, I spotted this adorable tote and knew right then I had to make one. Thankfully, she included the link to the tutorial, which I will share with all of you.

This bag is a mini version of the other. It is small enough to hold 6 or so cards with envelopes. I decided to make this one for me, using the new Bella Rose DP's from SU! since they are sooo my bedroom! I think this little tote will sit nicely on my fireplace mantel, filled with Hershey's Nuggets! LOL! I also chose not to cover my paper with artwork, because to me this paper IS artwork. I used my new JustRite Stamper for the monogram and added some sugared butterflies for a bit of whimsy. The butterflies are a lot softer colored in real life. So cute and really easy to make! I'm already thinking ahead to Easter for table favors!

This paper is so pretty. One side is a soft, yummy pink and the other side is a delicious ruby red. Simply gorgeous!

Supplies-Cardstock:Pink Pirouette(SU!) White Daisy(CTMH). Paper:Bella Rose(SU!). Stamps:Celebrate Life(CTMH). Monogram(JustRite Stamper). Inks:Lilac Mist(CTMH). Pixie Dust Dew Drop(Tsukineko). Other:scallop circle punch(EK Success). Dazzling Diamonds(SU!). 0rgandy ribbon:Pink Carnation(retired CTMH). eyelets:WR Memory Keepers. Crop-a-dile.

Thank you for visiting today!

This is so pretty, Barb! You did a really nice job, and that paper is truly beautiful. I can think of so many possibilities for that project. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'd love to have a room decorated like this...soft pinks and roses. And a fireplace too -- talk about romantic! I wonder if those totes are sturdy enough to hold a couple wine glasses? lol At our house, though, the Hershey's Nuggets would be replaced with LOTS of Dove -- milk for him and dark for me. ;)

Looks like I have a LOT more of your posts to go through to get caught up.... Man, I hate being too busy to stay current my favorite blogs!
