Some Difficult Days...

I have been dealing with some difficult days. The day after Christmas, two deaths affected our family. One was a childhood friend and mentor of My Man. The other, a fight that resulted in a young person being killed. We are shocked and saddened. And even though knowing that death is a part of life, one is rarely prepared for "the phone call".

I am going to be 'quiet' on my blog for a while. Both of the girls are home for most of the month and I really want to spend time with them. Vic wants to sort thru photos and help me get them scrapped. SweetP wants me to play Wii games and help her improve her crocheting skills. And so that is what I am going to do. I will be visiting blogs, because I get so much inspiration and joy out of seeing what everyone creates.

Now more than ever, we realize the importance of spending quality time with family and friends.

Blessings~

I'm so sorry that your family is having to deal with such sorrow. Surely the Lord will be there to comfort you as your family finds its way through this valley. And I have a feeling that being able to just hang out and spend time together will be very good medicine for you all. Enjoy your mom/daughter times...sadly, they are over before you know it! And we'll be right here waiting for you when you get back to creating and sharing. ;) Blessings and hugs!
