Thinking of You

Mum saw the yarn basket card in a previous post and asked if I would make one for her to give to a friend. Well, I don't know about you, but if I don't make multiples of a card at the same time, I have difficulty going back to it and making more. So, since I already had these Basic Grey papers on my work area, I decided to use them again. I really like the softness of this one. The sky is the limit with this image. I just love it.

Supplies-Cardstock:Certainly Celery,Pretty in Pink(SU!). Stampers Select White(PTI). Paper:Lily Kate(Basic Grey). Stamps:Yarn Basket(Lockhart Stamp Co). Sentiment from Pond Life(PTI). Ink:Garden Green(CTMH). Memento Tuxedo Black(Tsukineko). Other:Circle,Circle Scallop and Oval Nestabilities(Spellbinders). Scallop edge punch(SU!). Colored pencils(Prisma). Scor-Pal. Yarn from my stash.

Thanks for dropping by today! I appreciate it!

Blessings~

Oooo, so pretty! I agree with you regarding making multiple cards. I think she is going to really like this one and be glad you don't make multiples. Every one is unique and beautiful. Love it!

Ohhhhhh I LOVE the colors in this one! So soft and pretty. I think I just may be ready to try my hand at coloring in one of my images. I don't know what it is...but I worry that I won't like what I do and then I've messed up one of the images...LOL Weird, but true! Need to get over myself. Ha! Ha!

What a clever idea to use yarn for the bow!!! Love it! And I understand about going back to make multiples of cards: too difficult. Whenever I send my mom a card, she'll call and say, "Cute card, could you make me a set of 10?" Sorry, doesn't work that way...

Have a good weekend!
