Sweet Peas

I got some new goodies a few weeks ago. I finally got an opportunity to play with some of them. This is the stamp of the month bundle from Ellen Hutson. Every month she puts together a wonderful offering and the price just can't be beat. This month is loaded with goodies from Basic Grey. It's their yummy Porcelain paper pad, coordinating buttons, matching cards and envelopes, beautiful ivory satin ribbon and a really fun Sweet Pea stamp from Karen Lockhart. With each order I have placed with Ellen, she always sends along two gifts; a generous amount of a delicious ribbon-that's the green one- and a colored image of the stamp I ordered with a little 'Thank You' stamped on it.

FYI-I am not affiliated with Ellen in any way. I just really enjoy shopping with her and adding to my Lockhart collection each month. Okay...So here are the featured products for this month.

And here are a few of the cards I made with it. I did add a bit of cardstock from Stampin' Up! and Papertrey Ink. I also used Neenah Classic Cream cardstock that I bought from Ellen's store. I colored the images with Copic markers and added some sparkle with a Spica At You glitter pen in pink, also purchased at Ellen's.

For this card I used Neenah for my card base, Ruby Red from SU! and Dark Chocolate from PTI. I used the scallop edge punch from SU! and my Crop-O-Dile to punch holes in the scallop humps.I decided not to put a sentiment on these cards until I have an occassion.

On this one I used the scallop edge punch from SU! and my new Nesties, Labels Two. I also used some Distress ink in Antique Linen to add a touch of color to my focal point. The card base here is PTI's Spring Moss.

I decided to go green on this one. I used circle and circle scallop Nesties. The green ribbon is the gift that came with my order and the green cardstock is one of the pre-folded cards that came in the bundle. I love the mottled, water colored look of this paper.

This one is for my Mum. I used Nestabilities Labels One to cut my focal and a piece of the Porcelain paper. The 'lace' look there is another piece of the BG paper. I just cut it apart. The ribbon is from my stash-it's Oatmeal satin from Offray. I stamped 'Mother' in CTMH's Sorbet Ink, using a stamp from PTI's Mixed Messages. And I cut the tag with Tiny Tags dies from Cuttlebug. This card base is one that came in the bundle.
The Porcelain papers are so pretty and just a joy to work with. If you get a chance, go visit Ellen's store. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks for the visit. Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~

Oh my gosh......what a BEAUTIFUL collection of cards Barb!
You truly did an fantastic job coloring in the image...the flowers, vase and water are so well done! I also love the Basic Grey DP..isn't it yummy?! I brought one sheet of the Porcelain paper and wondered out loud..."what on earth was I thinking"! I promptly ordered the 6X6 pad and I can't wait for it to arrive. BTW...Ellen's on-line store is a favorite of mine as well, she is very prompt and you never have to wait a long time to receive your goodies!

Oh, Barb!! ALL of your Sweet Pea cards are so soft and beautiful! I love them all, but I think the one you made for your mom is my favorite...not that you asked -lol!

I, too, enjoy shopping at Ellen's -- great products, good prices, and wonderful service. I'm not supposed to be buying anything, and it's a good thing I already picked up that Sweet Peas image, or you'd have me stopping over there to get in trouble. ;)

Oh, I love what you did with the Sweet Peas stamp! I was kind of on-the-fence about it, but it goes so well with the Porcelain paper...I sure hope Ellen has one left for me:). And am glad it fits in Labels1 die, because I don't have Labels2...
I guess you're my enabler today (is that good?)...

cheers,
Diana
