I am not one who usually mass produces cards, but I got this brilliant idea and then it just sort of snowballed on me. It's been unseasonably warm here and my Studio is southeast facing, meaning I get a lot sun. Great in the winter...spring and summer, not so much. Anyway...rather than taxing my over heated brain, I decided to just go with what was flowing from my fingertips and create some cards for a few special people in my life. On to the cards...
I wanted something bright and cheery for the first cards, so I grabbed some My Mind's Eye paper and pulled cardstock to match it. The ribbon on these is chocolate, NOT black. And I tell you, I was all over the place with my supplies on these cards. If you see a card that you would like the details for, please e-mail me and I will send the info to you.
I'm noticing a bluish cast to this photo. Time for a new camera! *wink* Anyway, I wanted a soft, feminine look for my next card, so I reached for this lovely K and Company paper that I've had for years. I love it! The florals on here are embossed and that adds a nice touch.
While I was in my K and Company drawer,I spied this daisy paper and I just had to make a card with it too! I think daisies say Springtime, and these by Tim Coffey are so pretty.
And finally, I wanted something bold, yet colorful for my next card. So, I selected a paper from my Stampin' Up! drawer and paired it with the coordinating cardstock.
Whew! Sorry for the long post. I tried to keep the wording to a minimum. But, I figured since all of the cards are basically the same, I didn't want to spread them out over the next few days.
Thank you for dropping by today. Have a fabulous weekend!
Blessings~

I love how similar and yet different these cards are! What a difference the paper makes. Wonderful work, Barb!
They're all very pretty! Have a great Mother's Day weekend!
These are all very, very pretty! I can't even pick my favorite. I love your new banner and background!
WOW these are all so wonderful! I love them all!
Even though you used the same design, you did such a wonderful job making all the cards unique! They're all beautiful, and I'd have to say the yellow one with the lovely daisy paper is my favorite (thanks so much, Barb -- it's even more beautiful in real life!). ;P
Beautiful cards!!
