2011 Christmas Card Challenge #1

Well how about that?! Here I am starting my Christmas cards for 2011 and you can too, if you play along each week with Sparkle and her elves. I dabbled a bit here and there over the last year with the challenges and I tell you what...my cards for the year were completed and ready to mail at the end of November. Gotta love that!! Anyway...this week, the challenge is to create a monochromatic card.

 I chose gold as my color and yes, I added a pop of red. I couldn't help myself. This cute little deer needed some bling and it was screaming to be red!  I just love that sassy deer. She is from a stamp set I WON from GinaK Designs!

I've not been blogging because I'm still working on projects for the Christmas Boutique. It's this Saturday, so I'm wrapping things up now. I trust everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving...mine was great. There were A LOT of people in my house!! Whew! Folks were everywhere...but everyone was well fed and we all had a good time and that is what's most important. I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see what you've been up to....Christmas really is right around the corner...
