Makeover Monday Challenge #5

Hello All...I am here again to share my project for the Makeover Monday Challenge from Andrea Walford of Paper Crafter's Library. This week Andrea was inspired by one of the Papercrafts magazine, Go-To-Gals...Teri Anderson. You can see their cards by clicking HERE. This was a really fun one to play with. I have so many beautiful patterned papers and I thought this layout was a wonderful way to use them without covering up or competing with the design.

Supplies:
card stock: Pure Poppy, Kraft, Vintage Cream(Papertrey Ink)
patterned paper: Jovial Collection(Basic Grey)
stamp set: Sparkle and Cheer(Taylored Expressions)
ink: Soft Suede(Stampin' Up!)
other: corduroy button(SU!)  baker's twine(Martha Stewart Crafts)  Ice Stickles(Ranger) corner rounder(EK Success)

It's just a shame the camera doesn't pick up the sparkle on this card. I applied Ice Stickles onto some of the dots in between the ornaments. It adds a bit of texture and a whole lotta shine! This layout lends itself well for mass production, too. The card is clean and simple...it's easy to make and easy to mail.

Thank you for dropping by!

Blessings~
