Thursday Challenge @ Meljen's

Hello Friends! Today I am excited to share my first creation as an official member of the Meljen's Designs, Design Team! It's Thursday, and that means there is a new challenge on the Meljen's blog. This theme is always a favorite. It's...

~ ANYTHING GOES ~

Since the pre-colored images are still on sale, I decided to feature another one today. I chose this cute Bundled Little Snowboy.

Isn't he fun?! I printed this little guy on Presentation Paper and then added a few embellishments. Click on the picture to see all the details...I used a new-to-me product, called Sparkly Fluff. It's like flocking, but it has sparkles in it. I'm not sure what I think of it yet but, I wanted to try it on the 'fur' parts of my images. I also added lots of sparkle with a glitter pen and made my 'snow' with white Flower Soft. I used a Fiskars impression plate for the subtle snowflakes on the top portion of my background paper. I happen to have a snowflake eyelet in my stash, so I used that to anchor the LET IT SNOW greeting, which is a sticker. I mounted the sticker onto card stock to give it more stability. I added a snowflake border trim, along with some silver cord and finished the card off with white dash lines.

I hope you can play along with us in the challenge this week. Doesn't have to be a Christmas card, just as long as you use a Meljen's Designs image, anything goes! You might win some free digis in our random drawing!

Wow, Barb! You dressed up the pre-colored image wonderfully! I think the sparkly fluff looks really festive as do all the great snowflakes. All in all a winner for your "debut."

PS What is presentation paper?

I really like the blue and white color combo. The fluff and sparkle are just perfect!
