New Release Friday!

Hello Friends! Today is Friday and you know what that means...There are brand new digital stamps at MelJen's Designs! Yaaaaaay! I just love sharing the new images with all of you each week. Here they are...

It is probably no surprise that I created a card with Windswept Diva...

I just love these Divas! I printed this little beauty on Cryogen White card stock and colored her hair and skin with Copic markers. Her dress is colored with a Clear Stardust glitter pen and boy does it shimmer and sparkle!

I die cut the image and sponged on a little pink ink while the image was still in the die. That is how I keep a crisp white border around the image. I chose some gorgeous paper from my collection to serve as back drop for Ms. Windswept and I accented it with scattered rhinestones that I tinted a pale pink, using a Copic marker. I added a die cut greeting tag, tied on a bit of sheer ribbon and called it done.

Absolutely FAB. U. LOUS. Barb! What a terrific idea to color the whole dress with the sparkly pen. She is beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing. As I was telling my friend yesterday when I was talking about your work...you share great details in your posts about how you achieve the results you do and I truly appreciate that (and have been known to go back to a post to read up on how you do something :) )

Happy Friday! Hope you have a fantastic weekend.

Your techniques are fabulous, Barb. I love your inking the background around the image while it's in the die. What a beautiful card!
