New Release Friday!

Hello Friends! I can't wait to show you the new digi stamps, so let's jump right in!

Cute, right? Every week, I am amazed and thrilled with the new images. Don't you just love those pockets? Well, I will be coloring those up soon, but for now, I chose to feature the Little Round Flowers. This image is dear, because it was inspired by Melissa's (MelJen) daughter. After I learned that, I knew I had to create a card with it. And, I am not normally a 'frog' person, but that little guy up there, is soooo cute! Can't wait to get him colored up and on a card to share with all of you!

I decided to go clean and simple on this one. I printed two of the image onto white blending card and colored it 'quick and dirty' with Copics. Haha! That 'quick and dirty' is a term I picked up from Jennifer McGuire. It means coloring without trying to stay within the lines or worrying too much about blending and shading. It's a technique best suited for things that will be cut out. Which brings me to my next step. After I colored the flowers, I fussy cut them out and carefully edged them with a black Copic marker. This little trick hides any white areas on the cut-out and makes it look neater. I added dimensional adhesive to the top flower and slightly off-set it to add interest. I used some sequins, too. I've had these for YEARS and never knew what to do with them. But they are all the rage now. They add a bit of sparkle and light to the card, it's a nice touch and I will be using them again and again.

Here is a detail shot of the flower bling...

You know me, I had to add glitter somewhere! :)

These digital stamps are available in the Shop right now. And they are on SALE! Also, don't forget to stop by the Design Team blog to comment on the DT Member Share Day posts so you can be entered into the Anniversary Drawing. And...use those MelJen's Designs digital stamps and join our weekly challenge. Right now, we've got HAPPY BIRTHDAY as the theme.

**I am entering this card into the "ANYTHING GOES" challenge on the Sister Act Card Challenge blog. This is their very first challenge, so CONGRATS to them! Some of you may recall, that I submitted cards to be considered for their DT, but I was not one of the lucky ones chosen. They have a very talented group of ladies over there now, so hop on over and have a look-see.**

That's it for me today. Thank you for dropping by. Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~

So sweet, Barb. You did a great job on this clean and simple card. The flower looks terrific and I love that you stuck to your signature style with the glitter. The other two images also look fun to color! Have a great weekend!
