Hello Friends! Melissa(MelJen) is transitioning to a new format for the Design Team. There are new digital stamps in the Shop and they are featured on the Home screen. This week they all are Cinco de Mayo themed. Lucky us, Melissa created a Fiesta Diva!
My card started with sketch #81 from Freshly Made Sketches.
Not a lot of techniques on this one. I will share about the gold ink, though. It's a favorite of Julie Ebersole and she used it in one of the online card classes I took. It's a beautiful shimmery gold pigment ink, so it takes a moment to dry, which is good for clear embossing. Julie says it best, she likes the Delicata Golden Glitz ink "neckked" LOL! just plain, by itself and I have to agree. It's just gorgeous all on it's own. I can see this being used for Christmas cards in a few months!
That's it for me today. Thank you for dropping in! Have a great weekend.
Blessings~

Ole! This is fabulous, Barb. You've colored this beauty wonderfully and have chosen a perfect pattern paper to go with the image. Great job. Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
What a fun and colorful card, Barb! Your DP is nicely defined by the black mat. And I love the shading behind that darling image which you colored so beautifully. Thanks for introducing us to the striking gold ink!
