Hello Friends! I have one more card to share with you in 2013. I used this same set for my family cards last year, you can see that post HERE. I changed it up a bit and used more of the images on this card.
I used no patterned paper so that made it really easy to mass produce. I still like this stamp set and I'm always on the lookout for new ways to use it. I went back to basics and just did a lot of stamping. I stamped the ray in Versamark and embossed it in gold. Next, I inked the edges with Distress Inks. Then, I stamped all of the other images. I used that yummy Delicata Gold ink on the star and added a rhinestone to the center. I die cut the Holy Family and adhered them with dimensional adhesive. Finally, the whole panel was given a blast of shimmer spray.
Here is a look at the inside.
For the inside, I used my Fiskars Stamp Press. I laid all of the stamps out on my card stock first and then picked them up with the press. That way, it's already in place and ready to stamp over and over. That makes producing these fast and easy.
Well, that's it. I hope you have enjoyed the Christmas Card Parade. I will be taking a break from creating until the New Year to spend time with my family and friends. I look forward to sharing with you in 2014!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Blessings~

I love both the inside and outside of your card, Barb. Your techniques are awesome. The dimension from the die cuts is perfect. Your embossing adds a definite spark. Thanks for reminding us that you used this set last year - you provided a great lesson in stretching our stamps. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Oh my goodness, Barb, this is stunning! I'm so glad you take the time to explain what you have done to create your cards. Your attention to detail is fantastic. I am glad you were able to use the set you've had in your stash in a fresh new way. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty and all the cards you've made recently. I've enjoyed the show very, very much. Merry Christmas to you and your family! May you be blessed in 2014 as well. Hugs!
Wow Barb this is truly a masterpiece. I love everything about it.
