Two Clean and Really Simple Cards

Well hello Friends! It's a been awhile since I've posted, I am enjoying a little break. But, I wanted to pop in today and share a few more cards I created with the July Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. The request was for "two cards with not a lot of dimension, something easy to mail, one for him and one for her." Here is what I came up with.

For Her...

Really CAS, yes? I told you! I used white embossing powder on the sentiment to add a little interest. The hearts and dots were stamped with Versamark ink. Sometimes, I forget that Versamark is a watermark ink that creates lovely stamped images on colored card stock. I added the little flag up top and adorned it with a heart that I die cut several times and layered for a smidge of dimension. Sparkling Clear 4mm sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished off the card.

For Him...

For this one, I used Liquid Platinum embossing powder. Jennifer McGuire raved about it so much, I had to get some. It's very nice. Not the typical shiny silver, but more of a muted, almost antiqued silver...very lovely. And then, everything else is pretty much the same as the first card. I used the Wink of Stella glitter brush on the hearts on both cards to add my signature sparkle. :)

And that is it for me today! Thank you for stopping by!

Blessings~

These are beautiful CAS cards. The design is lovely and lends itself easily to mass production. You've chosen delightful color combinations.

Delightful cards, Barb! I really like the design of the cards and the colors you chose for them. The embossing on the masculine card looks very neat. So good to see you post. I hope you have been enjoying your break! Hugs!
