Day 11 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Friends! I did it! I was able to color tonight! I really do find it relaxing, after a long day.

My cast of characters is small again today. I played with Copic markers and a really cute image, Peaches, from Lockhart Stamp Co. This is another stamp that I've had for years and haven't used much.

I stamped the image onto smooth white card stock, using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I chose brown ink because I wanted a softer look and I thought the black would be too harsh. And then I colored it in with Copics. Quick and simple.

And these are the Copic colors that I used for my image.

I just love that the fruit is in a lettuce bowl. I actually have quite a collection of Lockhart stamps. When I was first introduced to Copic coloring, from the AMAZINGLY talented Debbie Olson, she used Lockhart stamps and I would buy the stamps she featured in her blog posts, along with the Copics she used. This way, I could practice or imitate what she had done. I like the style of Lockhart stamps, classic and a little whimsical. They are super cute and really fun to color. I will probably be using a few more before this coloring challenge is over.

And that is all I have for today. Thank you so much for visiting!

Blessings~

Yay! You were able to color. I did, too, for about 3 minutes, before I was called away. LOL I really like that the image you used is in a lettuce bowl. That is unique and whimsical, like you said. I also liked that you would buy your Copics to color a particular image. That is a great idea. Got your email. Thanks! I appreciate the tips and the links. Will watch for sure. :) Thanks for inspiring! Have a great day. Hugs!
