Day Four - 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday! This is going to be a super quick post, it's late and I'm tired. Originally, I was not planning to participate in the challenge on the weekend, as there is just too much going on, but, I had a little down time and decided to do some coloring to relax.

This is my cast of characters...

Nice and simple, right? Perfect for winding down after a busy Saturday.  I turned on some music...this evening I listened to Michael Buble'. ~smiles~  I stamped my image onto some Neenah Solar White card stock, using Black Licorice Hybrid ink. This ink is also compatible with Copic markers and I think that it is a much deeper black than Memento Tuxedo Black and that's usually a good thing. Except, when I started coloring the image, it looked too much like Halloween with the colors I'd chosen. Soooo...I stamped the image again with brown ink. I liked that much better!

Nothing fancy here, just simple Copic coloring. It was nice and relaxing and that's what I needed. It is a work in progress, as I still need to color the background and frame, but, I wanted to share what I worked on today. I'm discovering a renewed love not only for coloring, but also for my stamps. I've had this one for six years and I haven't used it very much. When I decided to join the Coloring Challenge, I pulled out a lot of my old stamps and I'm so glad I did.

So that's it for me. I thank you for visiting me today.  Good night.

Blessings-

I wasn't expecting you to post daily on this challenge, but I am not complaining! Thank you so much for giving us snippets of what you are doing with the challenge. I'm so happy that you are rediscovering your love for coloring and stamps. I so enjoy seeing what you are up to so thank you for taking a little time to post! I know it takes time to write up a post and that is super hard when you are at the end of a busy day. :)
