Hello Friends! Welcome to Day Four of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge! I took a little detour from what I was working on yesterday but, I promise I'll get back to it. ~smiles
For my color share today, I did a little watercoloring. I used Handwritten Floral Greetings, the stamp set that was included in the July 2016 Simon Says Stamp card kit.
I started off with a piece of Distress Watercolor card stock. I went over it with my anti-static powder bag and then randomly stamped the images using Versamark ink, which is a clear, sticky ink that keeps the embossing powder in place. I heat set the powder and let it cool. Then, using Distress Markers and a paint brush, I watercolored the images.
After the piece was dry, I used a stitched rectangle die to die cut it. In order to get perfect placement for the sentiment, I used my MISTI and I stamped it three times to get it nice and dark. I felt that it was missing a little something, so I added in a few more randomly stamped dots and flowers and I gave the big flowers a coating of Clear Spectrum Sparkle. LOVE that stuff!
Next, I matted the panel with orange card stock and adhered it onto a white card base with foam tape. For the finishing touch, I added clear rhinestones to the flower centers. Sparkle, sparkle, glitter and bling!
And that's all folks! Thanks for stopping by today!
Blessings~
