A Little Flower

This card is made using the sketch from this weeks sketch challenge at PCP. When I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to play along, because it had a butterfly on it. Since the sketch called for tone on tone, with a bit of contrast, my Silhouette papers came to mind. I didn't do anything special here, no inked edges, no pop dots, no fancy corners. It's pretty simple and straight forward. Oh! I did a bit of piercing on two of the corners.

My card

Supplies-cardstock and papers:Silhouette paper pack Level 2(CTMH). Stamp:Flutterby Butterfly(Inque Boutique). Ink:Black(CTMH). Markers:Sunflower, Autumn Terracotta(CTMH). Flowers:Prima. Other:brads and ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings~

Ohhhhhhh so pretty!

How did you determine this..."Since the sketch called for tone on tone, with a bit of contrast...?" from the sketch? I'm honestly curious because maybe I totally don't undeerstand the nuances when I look at sketches.

You know I love me some butterflies!

To Answer Jeanne's question:
The sketch designers sample and her description of her sketch on the PCP site are what gave me the 'tone on tone with a bit of contrast' take on this sketch.

Just lovely! The sketch design reminds me of a cross in the center there.
