Thanks So Much

I love this image. I've had it for a while but this is the first time it's seen ink. I got some new Copics and I really wanted to use them with this basket of yarn. I chose my paper and then just pulled colors from my marker box to match. I had so much fun coloring this. The basket is my favorite. I got my inspiration for coloring it, from looking at my Longaberger baskets in the studio. I used the basketweave stamp from one of CTMH's old SOM's to create the background and I lightly inked the edges. The focal and the sentiment are mounted on foam tape. I added a ribbon and bow to finish it off.

Supplies-Cardstock and Papers: Floral Tapestry level 2 paper pack(CTMH). Stamps: Yarn Basket(Lockhart Stamp Co). Eastertime(CTMH). Out on a Limb Sentiments(PTI). Ink:Twilight, Bamboo, Brown Bag(CTMH). Memento Tuxedo Black(Tsukineko). Ribbon:Spring Green grosgrain(Offray). Square Nestabilities(Spellbinder). Other:Copic markers, Scor-Pal

Thanks for stopping in today!

Blessings~

Another wonderful card with that darling knitting basket image! I have that stamp but have yet to ink it up...guess the 'right' occasion hasn't come up yet since I don't know that many who knit...which begs the question of why I felt I HAD to have that stamp in the first place. lol

I read on Jeanne's blog that you sent this card to her --it's perfect for her! The basket weave background is a nice touch, and your bow is so pretty! tfs
