New Release Friday!

Hello Friends! It's Friday and that means there are new digital stamps in the MelJen's shop.  This release has got to be among my favorites so far, because Melissa has graced us with the DIVAS! Take a look at these curvy beauties.

They are soooo pretty! I just love 'em! And there are even some stamps for Valentine's Day, too. I have few DIVAS colored and carded to share with you. First, let me just say, these Divas are soooo me. From their up-dos to the pearls, to their sassy little attitudes, right down to their chubby little bottoms!  When I get a chance, I plan to enlarge the top two and color and frame them for display in my studio.

Okay, first up is Flirty Diva...

I have an absolute love affair going with leopard print; it's been going on for years! In fact, my studio is decorated with espresso, black and leopard. As soon as I saw these Divas, I knew at least one of them was going to be wearing leopard. This was my first attempt at illustrating leopard using Copic markers...I will get better at it! Anyway, I loved coloring up this little cutie. The camera doesn't show it very well, but I used a heart texture plate on the tan card stock and I gave it a blast of shimmer spray. I colored clear rhinestones with a Copic marker, to coordinate with the leopard spots.

And here is Romance Diva...

She is so cute! I love her coy little smile with the rose in her mouth...she definitely has something on her mind! I pulled the colors for this Diva right from the 'love words' patterned paper. The pink card stock has been embossed with the hearts texture plate. I accented Romance Diva with pearls, and tied on a bitty bow with a charm that says, "sweet". There is a tiny hint of glitter along the top of the ribbon there. My adhesive was wider than my ribbon and rather than rub it off with adhesive remover, I chose to sprinkle on a little glitter for extra sparkle.

That's all I have for today. As always, please stop by the MelJen's Design Team blog to see what the other DT members have to share with you. Oh! And I almost forgot...The entire MelJen's Shop is on SALE! You'll want to stop by and take a look, because there is also a chance to win a $50 MelJen's gift certificate.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings~

Wowzers, Barb...this is a fantastic post! I LOVE these cards and how you have colored them. They exude sass and charm. Fabulous coloring and attention to detail. Love that little tidbit about the ribbon and excess tape. Never would have thought of that myself.

That's "all" I have? It's more than enough. Great images, awesome coloring, wonderful cards. Thanks so much for sharing! *Ü*

Barb, I haven't been by in awhile, but after seeing your card over on the Meljen's blog, I clicked right over!! Both cards are fabulous, but I'm loving the leopard print one! My mother's birthday is coming up so I will definitely be getting these images! TFS!
