Thursday Challenge @ MelJen's

Hello Friends! It's time for another Thursday Challenge on the MelJen's Designs blog. The challenge this week is

''ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE"

The perfect challenge to launch on Valentine's Day!

I chose to work with the Love Doodle Block. I colored it with Copics and added glitter to the heart. I wanted to use up scraps of patterned paper, so I punched a bunch of squares with a postage stamp punch, arranged them onto a piece of card stock, double matted it and adhered it with dimensional adhesive. I tied on some wrinkled ribbon and stuck in a few heart stick pins to finish it off. Sadly, the camera does not pick up the sparkle on this card...I went over all of the black lines with a glitter pen and along with the heart, it just shines!

I hope you will play along with us this week. You could win free digital stamps. Just remember that you have to use a MelJen's Designs image in order to be entered into the random drawing. Have fun and good luck!

Don't forget to stop by the Challenge blog to be inspired by the other Design Team Members.

Awwww, this is just "love"ly, Barb! I think the sparkle on the heart is great and will imagine all the other glittery goodness, since the camera didn't quite cooperate. I like the variety of papers and how you pulled them all together on the mat. Very neat idea it put the heart stick pins in there, too. Down to the last detail wonderful!

Happy Valentine's Day!! Hugs!
