Day 4 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge 2

Hello Friends! I'm back again with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I colored up a little something from Lawn Fawn.

I love this stamp set! The little ants and the watermelon are adorable.  First, I die cut some watercolor card stock using stitched dies from Simon Says Stamp. Then, I stamped the images with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and sprinkled on fine detail embossing powder. I heat set that and let it cool for a bit. This time, I pulled out my little palette and scribbled the brush onto it and added water. I'm trying to achieve the painterly look I admire so much when I see what others have watercolored. I like seeing the watermark lines. Sooo I need to practice, practice, practice!

That's it for me! Thanks for visiting!

Looks terrific, Barb! I really like how you have the ants circling the watermelon on the finished piece. The colors look vibrant and bright. To my untrained eye, it sure looks like you've figured out how to lay down and blend the colors. Great job!
